1. A river in Egypt, i.e. Da Nile
2. Refusal to believe a doctrine, theory, or the like, i.e. I can't believe I've slept in my house for 15 days with a snake on the prowl.
3. Disbelief in the existence or reality of a thing, i.e. The snake is not in my house. It has decided it would rather live outside in the cold and snow. Even though I have always tried to prove a warm and comfortable home for all those who enter.
Denial is a WONDERFUL place to be!
